Five names are being added to the Kent Agricultural Hall of Fame today.
Douglas and William Buchanan, Bill Fisher-Leeson, Henry Neutens, and Alice Uher are being honoured for their contributions to the local community and agri-industry.
Uher says it’s a very exclusive club. “I googled a list of inductees and it’s mind-boggling to see the people and their accomplishments,” says Uher. “But I’m even more excited whem I think about the farmers of today and tomorrow and role for all of us to encourage them.”
A ceremony was held at Country View Golf Course this afternoon.
