A deal has been reached between Air Canada and the union representing its flight attendants, ending a strike that grounded hundreds of flights.
The airline announced on Tuesday that a mediated settlement had been reached for a new tentative agreement for the 10,000 flight attendants who walked off the job on Saturday.
The unionized employees will vote on the new contract at a later date. Air Canada said it would not comment on details of the agreement at this time.
Some Air Canada fights are expected to resume today, however, it could take seven to ten days for the airline to return to full, regular service.
