All the talk from airlines about the importance of social distancing was great, but now that people are slowly starting to fly again it’s out the window.

Air Canada and WestJet will end their on board seat distancing rules on Wednesday.

This is causing alarm bells to ring in the health community.

For the past few months the 2 airlines blocked the sale of adjacent seats to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

In the U.S. airlines also announced the change in policy, with American Airlines starting to book flights to full capacity.

This also goes into effect on Wednesday.
