Algae is causing some trouble in Mitchell’s Bay.
The municipality has been forced to close three of the launch ramps at Dover Beach Park, saying the ramps are too slippery and not safe to use.
The fourth ramp is open because of a tactile mat, but boaters and swimmers are urged to use caution.
