With two weeks left in the federal election campaign, the five candidates running in Chatham-Kent-Leamington will be gathering to discuss local issues this week.
The Kent Federation of Agriculture is hosting an all-candidates meeting on Thursday evening, specifically focusing on agriculture and rural topics.
The candidates include Dave Epp with the Conservative Party, Liberal Party candidate Keith Pickard, Seamus Fleming with the NDP, Green Party candidate James Plunkett, and Trevor Lee with the People’s Party of Canada.
Thursday’s forum takes place in the Derby Room at the Retro Suites Hotel in Chatham, and begins with some social time at 6:30, and the meeting itself gets underway at 7.
