Impaired driving charges have been laid after a Morpeth man crashed into both a tree and a telephone pole.
Emergency crews responded to a single-vehicle collision on Creek Line between Maynard Line and English Line just after 9 last night.
Suspected the driver had been drinking, the 57-year-old was arrested and given a breath test.
The accused will have to face the charges in court later this month.
