A Wallaceburg man won’t be getting behind the wheel anytime soon after police responded to a report of an impaired driver over the weekend.
The Chatham-Kent Police Service were called on Sunday just before 9 p.m. and located a suspected impaired driver in a parking lot on McNaughton Avenue in Wallaceburg.
After failing a breathalizer test, the driver was arrested and taken to police headquarters for further testing.
As a result, a 31-year-old Wallaceburg man has been charged with driving with a blood alcohol level over the legal limit. He was later released from custody with a scheduled court date.
