After almost crashing into an ambulance, a Raleigh Township man is facing an impaired driving charge.
The Chatham-Kent Police Service said on Tuesday at around 5:31 p.m., an officer stopped a vehicle on Queens Line in Raleigh Township after it crossed into oncoming traffic and almost collided with an ambulance.
Believing the driver was impaired, the officer placed him under arrest and took him to police headquarters for further tests.
As a result, a 27-year-old Raleigh Township man is charged with having a blood alcohol concentration over the legal limit. He has been released with a future court date.
