A Windsor man will have to answer to a judge after allegedly driving drunk while at a local provincial park.
The Ontario Provincial Police Service said the warden at Rondeau Provincial Park notified officers of a suspected impaired driver on Saturday at around 2:20 p.m.
Officers responded to the park and located the accused driver at a campsite, allegedly showing signs of impairment.
As a result, a 67-year-old Windsor man was arrested and taken to an OPP detachment for tests. He is now charged with impaired driving and driving with an alcohol level over the legal limit.
The man was also issued a 90-driver’s licence suspension and his vehicle will be impounded for seven days.
