A 25-year-old man has been charged after allegedly stalking a woman in Chatham.
The Chatham-Kent Police Service said officers were called to an address on Given Road shortly before 7 p.m. on Wednesday, after the accused had allegedly showed up at the victim’s parents’ home without invitation, despite being told by the woman that his contact was unwanted.
Officers also alleged that the man had also been regularly driving by the victim’s home and place of work.
As a result, the Chatham man was located and arrested. He is now charged with one count of criminal harassment and has been released with conditions and an October court date.
