An Alvinston man is facing several charges after Chatham-Kent police say he had a physical confrontation with the mother of his child and another man Sunday morning.
Police say the man was returning the child to the mothers when an altercation broke out involving the woman.
He threatened both of them before storming out.
He then grabbed a hammer and damaged a vehicle that was parked in the driveway.
He took of before police arrived but they tracked him down in Alvinston and transported him back to Chatham-Kent.
The 30 year old is now facing charges of weapons dangerous, mischief under $5000, aggravated assault, 2 counts of uttering threats, and three counts of assault
He is being held pending a bail hearing.
