Details are being released following a major drug bust at Windsor’s Ambassador Bridge earlier this month.
According to the Canada Border Services Agency, a transport was pulled in for inspection on December 15th, where officers discovered 30 packages of suspected cocaine, weighing close to 88 pounds.
The truck driver, a 44-year-old from Brampton, has been charged with importing a controlled substance and possession for the purpose of trafficking.
Authorities say the investigation is ongoing.
