Andraena Tilgner

Andraena Tilgner believes that the residents of Lambton Kent Middlesex deserve timely access to quality, publicly funded healthcare close to home.
Andraena grew up in British Columbia and developed a deep appreciation for our natural spaces skiing and hiking in the coastal mountains. Andraena has called Ontario home since 1998, graduating with a Bachelor of Health Sciences (BHSc.) from Western University in 2002 and an advanced diploma in respiratory therapy from Fanshawe College in 2005.
As a registered respiratory therapist who has served our community for 19 years, she has seen first-hand how profoundly people are affected by the availability of healthcare. Per capita healthcare spending in Ontario is the second lowest in Canada, second only to Prince Edward Island. Andraena supports the Green Party of Ontario’s plan to invest in home care and the Green Party’s commitment to act on the social determinants of health by investing in affordable housing and education.
Andraena is committed to protecting the unique communities in Lambton Kent Middlesex where we live work and play. She enjoys attending soccer games, camping and hiking with her family in the green spaces that give our community character and sustain our sense of collective well-being. She will work to implement the Green Party of Ontario’s pragmatic plan to protect and prepare our infrastructure for the changing climate conditions we are now facing so that our homes and business can thrive alongside our natural spaces.
