A special weather statement has been issued by Environment Canada with significant precipitation – both snow and rain this weekend. 
As we first told you earlier this week, a system is expected to move into the area Friday night with snow, changing to rain into the day on Saturday as temperatures rise.
Poor travel conditions are expected to develop from west to east across Southern Ontario Friday evening into Saturday.
Drier weather is expected in most places Sunday.
