Another name has been added to the ballot as local conservatives try to find a successor for former MPP Monte McNaughton.

Neal Roberts, the head of the Middlesex London paramedic service, has announced he is running for the PC nomination in Lambton Kent Middlesex.

Earlier this month, Chatham-Kent Councillor Steve Pinsonneault threw his hat in the ring to fill the seat left vacant when McNaughton left politics for the private sector earlier this fall.

The deadline for nominations closed on December 10th. The PC riding association has scheduled a nomination meeting for January 27th.

At this point, no date has been set for a by-election to fill the vacant seat at Queens Park.
