Another person has succumbed to COVID-19 in Chatham-Kent.
Officials at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance confirmed a patient passed away in hospital on Sunday, although no other information has been provided at this point.
Chatham-Kent Public Health is reporting 125 new cases today with a seven-day rolling average case count of 55.
There are seven active outbreaks, three involving group homes and four at long term care facilities across Chatham-Kent.
CKHA officials said there are 27 patients with COVID-19 in hospital today, 10 of whom are being treated primarily for the virus. Four COVID patients in in the ICU, three of whom are on ventilators.
