Another uptick in Chatham-Kent’s COVID cases today.
Public Health officials are reporting 18 new infections and 15 cases resolved, raising the active caseload to 88.
Another school-based outbreak has been declared, this time at Dresden Area Central School with two linked cases.
St Ursula Catholic School, McNaughton Avenue Public School, and St Francis in Tilbury are also still in outbreak mode, as are two Chatham-Kent churches and an un-named manufacturing plant.
There are five COVID patients being treated at the Health Alliance, one of whom is on a ventilator in the ICU.
10 hospital staff are off work right now because of either testing positive for COVID-19 or having close contact with a confirmed case.
