With 4 Canadian provinces setting new records for single day cases of COVID-19 Saturday, Dr. Theresa Tam was busy again.

Ontario, Alberta  Saskatchewan and New Brunswick set new benchmarks prompting our Chief Public Health Officer to warn of an “urgent need for everyone to take individual actions to not only protect ourselves and also our populations and communities at high risk.”

Ontario hit the 1,588 mark beating the old record by 6.

The majority of cases still coming out of the red zone, the GTA and Peel.

The same area that will go back into lock down at midnight under the orders of Premier Doug Ford.

This does not include schools in Toronto and Peel.
