A series of protests voicing concerns about Ontario’s Doug Ford government makes another stop in Wallaceburg this weekend.
Organizers of the Fight Ford movement say with over 60 communities taking part, residents are voicing their concerns over provincial decisions and policies, including cuts to funding for public education and health care, access to freedom of information, and environmental protections.
The Wallaceburg rally is set to take place between 11am and 1pm on Saturday on the green space in front of Lambton-Kent-Middlesex Steve Pinsonneault’s office on McNaughton Avenue.
Similar protests were also held in dozens of Ontario communities this past March and April.
