AORS Brings Economic Boost to CK

Municipal officials are singing the praises of this week’s massive public works trade show.

More than 2000 people took in the Association of Ontario Road Supervisors event at the Bradley Centre, which GM of Infrastructure and Engineering Thomas Kelly calls a major coup for the community.

It cost Chatham-Kent $60,000 of in-kind services to host the event, however officials say with all of those attendees making use of shopping, restaurants, and hotels,  it pumped more than half a million dollars back into the economy.
