Applications are now being accepted for the latest round of funding through the Together CK Core Grant program.
Together CK Core Grants are awarded every four years through a competitive process to non-profit groups and registered Canadian charities.
Officials say the goal is to invest in local initiatives to meet community needs and build organizational capacity. Applicants may apply for up to 50% of their operating expenses, up to a maximum of $25,000.
The Together CK Municipal Grant Program has supported 401 events and 526 projects over the last 25 years. Previous recipients include Crowfest, Retro Fest, Taste of Chatham-Kent, the Dresden Night Market, WAMBO, and the Wallaceburg Older Adults Health and Wellness Fair.
In order to qualify, organizations must have an ongoing presence in the community and a record of providing quality programs and services to meet the community’s needs.
Two virtual information sessions will be held Thursday, May 29 at 12pm, and Monday, June 2 at 6pm. CLICK HERE to register.
