Police are looking for a pair of armed suspects after they forced their way into a Chatham residence while the homeowners were inside.

The Chatham-Kent Police Service said officers were called to a Fairview Line address near Communication Road at around 8:20 p.m. on Monday following the home invasion.

Authorities said two people wearing disguises pulled out an unspecified weapon, forcefully entered the home and demanded money from the residents. Various items were stolen during the robbery.

The homeowners were not injured during and have since been provided with the appropriate supports.

Officers conducted a search of the area, utilizing the K9 unit and a drone, however, the suspects were not located.
