Allegedly making threats toward several people has landed a Chatham-Kent man in hot water with police.
The Chatham-Kent Police Service was contacted on Wednesday at around 9:30 p.m. after a man attended a woman’s home on Richmond Street in Chatham and made threats to harm her and others.
Police responded to the scene, and a 45-year-old man was arrested.
The accused is now charged with two counts of uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm and breach of recognizance. He was taken to police headquarters and held for a bail hearing.
