Charges have been laid after a private photograph of a woman was shared without her permission.
The Chatham-Kent Police Service received a complaint on Monday after an image of a 29-year-old woman was taken without the victim’s knowledge or consent. The image was also shared without the victim’s consent.
A 30-year-old Wallaceburg man turned himself in at police headquarters on Tuesday evening. He is now charged with voyeurism and publication of an intimate image without consent.
He was later released from custody and will answer the charges in court next month.
