A year and a half after a violent dispute in Dresden, an arrest has been made.
Chatham-Kent Police responded to St George Street in Dresden the evening of May 28, 2022. According to investigators, a woman confronted three people about a property-related issue, then allegedly threw various items, tried to hit one of the victims, threatened to harm them and attacked one with a knife.
By the time officers arrived, the accused was gone and a warrant was issued for her arrest.
Yesterday, the 24-year-old Dresden woman was found and arrested. She’s now been charged with mischief, assault, uttering threats to harm and two counts of assault with a weapon. She was released from custody with conditions and a December court date.
