An arrest has been made in connection to a break-in in Chatham.
Officers were called to a break and enter in progress at a Joseph Street home the afternoon of August 6.
Police arrived to find a 37-year-old man inside the property, and say he got into the building by forcing open a back door, causing damage to the frame.
The accused has since been charged with break and enter to commit mischief. Further investigation found the man was already wanted on an outstanding warrant for failure to comply with probation.
He has since been remanded into custody at the South West Detention Centre, and will be back in court later this week.
