Chatham-Kent Police have made an arrest following a shoplifting incident in Chatham.
Authorities say a woman was seen hiding merchandise and trying to leave a St Clair Street business Monday evening.
Police confirmed the suspect was wanted on an outstanding warrant in connection to a theft dating back to March 1st.
The 38-year-old was arrested and charged with two counts each of theft and possession of stolen property.
She’ll have to face the charges in court next month.
