A woman has been charged with setting a fire in Wallaceburg earlier this year. Chatham-Kent police arrested the 35 year old woman Friday morning in connection with the fire March 7th on Reaume Ave.
officers say they received a lot of assistance in this case from the Ontario Fire Marshall’s office and the centre of Forensic Sciences.
Police also say the woman also stole a truck at the scene of the fire when someone stopped to help.
So the woman is facing arson related charges, theft of a vehicle and several counts of failing to comply. She was held pending a bail hearing.
