A handful of people are in police custody in Chatham-Kent after being arrested in neighbouring jurisdictions.
Local authorities were contacted by Leamington OPP early this morning about a man and woman already in custody who were wanted on warrants in Chatham-Kent.
Police say a 27-year-old Comber man has been charged with unauthorized possession of a weapon and two counts of failing to comply with an undertaking.
A 31-year-old Windsor woman is facing charges of failing to comply with an undertaking, failing to attend court, unauthorized possession of a weapon, possession of a controlled substance, and possession for the purpose of trafficking.
Both suspects have been transferred to Chatham-Kent Police custody to be held for a bail hearing.
Meantime, the OPP in Middlesex reached out Tuesday morning about a man in their custody wanted by Chatham-Kent Police for failing to attend court on an impaired driving charge.
The 44-year-old from Wardsville has since been released with conditions and a date in court next month.
