Art and bike racks don’t normally get used in the same sentence, but they will when it comes to new installations in front of local libraries.
A handful of new designs have been given the green light for creation and installation, thanks to a public art project spearheaded by the Chatham-Kent Public Health Unit.
The winning designs, chosen from submissions entered earlier this year, include a dinosaur, crows, Pride-colouredhearts, sign language, and local crops.
Each winner will receive $1000, although one has asked that their prize money be donated to a non-profit.
