A new exhibit is opening at one of downtown Chatham’s art galleries.
Today marks the start of Bryan Halls’ exhibition entitled Psalms: Part One, at ARTspace on King Street West.
The work combines artistry and spiritual practice, with Halls’ multi-year devotional undertaking to create artwork for each of the 150 Psalms from the Bible. Halls says each black and white piece contrasts the modern world’s darkness with the clarity of Divine Light.
An opening reception is being held Friday evening during Art Under the Stars, from 5-9pm, featuring live music by QU. (pronounced cue)
ARTspace is located at 165 ½ King St W and is open Wednesdays through Saturdays from 12:00 to 5:00 PM. Admission is free.
