A Chatham man has been arrested after allegedly choking a woman.
Chatham-Kent Police responded to a Chatham home shortly after noon on Tuesday and say an argument escalated into a physical altercation.
Authorities say the accused grabbed the victim around the neck. There were no physical injuries reported.
The 31-year-old has since been charged with assault. He was taken to police headquarters and later released with conditions and a date in court next month.
