Charges have been laid after a man allegedly pulled a knife during an argument in Tilbury.
According to Chatham-Kent Police, two men had been drinking together earlier in the day before tensions rose.
One man allegedly threatened the other with a knife before the weapon was taken from him. Police say the accused was under a court order not to be outside his home after consuming alcohol.
The accused took off before officers arrived, but was arrested a short time later. Authorities say during a search, suspected cocaine was found in the man’s pocket.
The 20-year-old is facing several charges, including assault with a weapon, weapons dangerous, uttering threats, possession of a controlled substance, and two counts of failing to comply with a release order.
