Chatham-Kent Police have arrested a man in connection with an altercation Friday night.
Police were called out to a King Street East residence when two men got into a argument.
That turned into a fight, and one man struck the other over the head with a whiskey bottle.
The victim was then kicked in the head.
The assailant fled the area but police made an arrest a short while later.
A 52 year old Chatham man has been charged with Assault, Assault With a Weapon, and Fail To Comply.
The victim sustained non life threatening injuries.
