A Chatham teen is facing assault charges, accused of attacking his mother.
Officers were called to a family disturbance yesterday afternoon, where authorities say an argument turned physical.
The 15-year-old has been charged with assault and assault with a weapon.
He was released into the custody of another family member, and will have to face the charges in court next month.
