A Chatham man has been arrested following a violent confrontation.
Chatham-Kent Police responded to a dispute in the St Clair Street area in Chatham shortly after 9 o’clock Tuesday evening and say the man and a woman got into an argument when the situation became physical. The victim, a 26-year-old Chatham woman, was left with minor injuries.
The 29-year-old accused was arrested and has since been charged with two counts of assault.
He was released from custody with conditions and a date in court next month.
