Sexual assault charges have been laid after an altercation near downtown Chatham.
Authorities say a woman driving an e-bike stopped on St. Clair Street earlier this week when a man on a bike pulled up to talk to her. During their conversation, the man allegedly touched her in a sexual manner.
The woman fled and called police.
The 65-year-old suspect was identified and arrested yesterday.
