Attempted Murder Charges Laid Following Wallaceburg Shooting

As the investigation continues into a shooting in Wallaceburg over the weekend, two people have been charged with attempted murder.

A 31-year-old Wallaceburg man was arrested Tuesday morning and charged with weapons offences after shots rang out near the corner of Victoria and King Sunday afternoon.

Now, two more people have been taken into custody.

A 27-year-old Wilkesport man and a 36-year-old Wallaceburg woman were arrested yesterday afternoon, both facing attempted murder charges. The male suspect is also facing a number of weapons offences, while the woman is accused of dangerous driving.
