Chatham-Kent’s ATV Club is once again looking to help take care of those in need in our community.

President Vince Masse says the group is holding another round of its Feed the Hungry food drive, this time around with some extra help.

“We’ve teamed up with the new Tri-Shores Lambton-Kent Chapter, they just newly formed in late 2020, so we thought we’d build up the team a little bigger, and hopefully be as successful as in the past, if not more so.”

Proceeds are spread out across the municipality.

“As we have done in the last three years, four years, we cover food banks in every time,” Masse says. “Wheatley, Blenheim, Ridgetown, Chatham, Dresden, Wallaceburg. We try to hit them all because they are in dire need of food.”

Last year’s campaign raised over $12,000, but so far Masse says online donations have plateaued at just over $3000, which he says shows the need is growing.
