ATV Driver Busted For Drug Possession

A lack of headlights on an ATV has ultimately led to a drug charge for a Chatham man.

The Chatham-Kent Police Service said officers stopped a man riding an ATV without lights on Price Albert Road in Chatham at around 10:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

The driver was arrested for failing to stop for police, however, during a search, officers also discovered a quantity of illicit drugs.

As a result, a 27-year-old Chatham man has been charged with drug possession. He was later released from custody with a March court date.
