ATV Food Drive Wraps Up Today

The Chatham-Kent ATV Club is once again looking to support those in need heading into the holidays.

It’s the second annual Feed the Hunger in Chatham-Kent.

“Last year, we were successful enough to feed eight food banks,” Club President Vince Masse says. “This year we are aiming for 10, which is looking very good right now with everything coming in, cash donations and food donations.”

Masse says along with the usual canned and boxed non-perishable food items, there’s a big need this year for children’s snacks and breakfast foods, as well as toiletries and hygiene products, like soap, shampoo, and toothpaste.

The club will be at Bob’s Motorsports on St Clair Street in Chatham today from 9am until 2pm, hoping to fill a trailer with donations.

If you can’t make it out today, you can also make a donation online – click here.
