Yet another delay for the case against a woman accused of killing a man in Wallaceburg almost a year and a half ago.
Kourtny Audette was arrested April 18, 2018, charged with first degree murder in the death of 24-year-old Nick Laprise.
A preliminary hearing was scheduled to begin yesterday, but has instead been put off until early September to allow enough time for a psychological assessment.
Preliminary hearings are meant to determine whether there’s enough evidence for the defendant to stand trial.
The hearing will now begin September 4th.
