The case of Kourtny Audette continues to crawl through the legal system.
The Wallaceburg woman accused of the first degree murder of 24-year-old Nick Laprise made a brief court appearance this morning.
Audette has been in custody since her arrest last April.
Her lawyer and the crown both received her psychological assessment today and will need time to go over the report.
She’ll be back in court on Oct. 3 to determine next steps and timelines.
