Just in time for Halloween, a local audio production company is out with a classic thrilling tale.
Voices in the Wind Audio Theatre will be releasing its production of The War of the Worlds, featuring a cast of local actors including Keith Burnett as Professor Peirson and Harry McDonald, and Noelle Dupuis as Carla Phillips, with original music, sound effects, and background ambiences.
The original radio drama was released on October 30, 1938, directed and narrated by Orson Welles as an adaptation of H. G. Wells’ novel.
This production of War of the Worlds, directed by George Zarr, was initially produced in 2007 for a Halloween broadcast to celebrate the 80th anniversary of local radio station CFCO, and is now being launched globally, available everywhere audiobooks are sold.
