Ava’s Mushrooms Florentine

  • 2 pkg. frozen chopped spinach
  • ¼ cup chopped onion
  • ¼ cup melted butter
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 lb. fresh mushrooms
  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • 1 cup grated cheddar cheese
  • Garlic salt

Cook spinach according to directions and drain. Place in bottom of shallow casserole dish. Sprinkle with salt, onions and butter. Layer ½ of cheese over spinach. Wash, dry and slice mushrooms. Sauté in butter. Spread in casserole dish. Sprinkle with garlic salt and remaining cheese. Bake 20 minutes in 350F oven
