The small town of Aylmer Ontario is under a state of emergency ahead of a protest rally planned for Saturday.
The mayor signed the order Monday for fear of civil unrest and service disruptions.
A couple of weeks ago about 150 people gathered in downtown Aylmer to protest COVID-19 restrictions.
It was called a freedom March and no one wore masks.
There has been an outbreak of 31 cases at a farm just outside of town, and the cases per 100,000 is actually higher than Toronto.
