Theatre Kent continues to mark its 40th anniversary with a throw-back to the 60s.
Director JC Wright says next month’s production of Barefoot in the Park is filled with love and laughter.
“It’s a Neil Simon classic that takes place in 1963 in New York and tells the story of Corie and Paul Bratter,” Wright says. “They’ve been married for six days and have known each other for two weeks, and the whole story revolves around their relationship and how these two people can come to live together and know each other and love each other.”
Starring Victoria Franks as Corie and Cade Robinet as Paul, a hilarious cast of characters round out the show, including Corie’s lonely middle-aged mother and Mr Velasco, the eccentric upstairs neighbour.
Barefoot in the Park runs February 7th to the 9th at the Kiwanis Theatre in Chatham. Tickets can be purchased online at cktickets.com.
