The Province is funding an initiative to combat youth homelessness in Chatham-Kent.
Through the Home for Good Initiative, Chatham-Kent will receive funds to hire 4 employees – three youth-intensive case managers and one administrative assistant – to work on the Homes First for Youth Program, which will help move homeless young people into stable housing.
The program aims to improve access to housing assistance, provide youth with a sense of inclusion and community connection, and physical, mental, and emotional well-being.
