Health experts are advising Ontarians to take care, but enjoy time with their families this Thanksgiving weekend.
The province’s Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Kieran Moore says it’s safe to have gatherings with people outside your household, as long as you keep to less than 25 people indoors and 100 outdoors, and follow all public health measures.
Dr. Moore advises there’s no need for face masks indoors as long as everyone in attendance is fully vaccinated.
Some caution to prevent further spread of COVID-19 and the highly transmissible Delta variant include asking guests not to come if they’re not feeling well, keeping track of all guests in case public health needs information for contact tracing, and using outdoor spaces whenever possible.
