Chatham-Kent families can look forward to weekly events this summer at the municipality’s local beaches and parks.

CKRecreation has announced its Summer Fest series, which will provide free community events for everyone throughout July and August.

As part of the series, beach days will be held at Erieau and Mitchell’s Bay every Saturday and Sunday. The CKRecreation summer squad will be on hand both days to provide beach toys and run activities.

Also on Saturdays and Sundays, the “Play Rangers” will bring engaging equipment and toys to Kingston Park in Chatham, ensuring fun for all ages.

Summer Fest will culminate with Party in the Parks and Movie in the Park, which will take place in parks in Wallaceburg, Ridgetown, Tilbury and Chatham.
